CONSULTEDGE RAISES $6,000 FOR
ACE MENTOR SCHOLARSHIP FUND

(New York, NY) – December 6, 2006 – For the past three years, members of the New York Businesswomen’s Network (NYBN) have joined forces to raise money for the ACE Mentor Scholarship Fund, which provides financial assistance to students attending college to pursue careers in the design and construction industries.  This year, more than $6,000 was raised at a wine-tasting and networking event hosted by NYBN members including Diane Pabst, National Account Manager with Consultedge, Inc.  Ms. Pabst has been a contributing member of NYBN since the Spring of 2006.

NYBN is a not-for-profit organization founded to support women in business.  Regular meetings provide a platform for members to share industry knowledge and trends, identify upcoming business opportunities, and discuss issues facing women in business and possible solutions.  In addition to its services for established professional women, NYBN actively assists women in the early stages of their careers through one-on-one mentoring and the ACE Mentor Scholarship Fund.

Beyond its emphasis on supporting women in business, NYBN is active in philanthropic activities including assistance to women who are victims of domestic violence through New York Cares and the donation of supplies to an orphanage in Africa.

“I’m honored to be part of this organization,” said Diane Pabst.  “Not only do we benefit in our business careers from one another’s experience and knowledge, but we collectively make a difference in the lives of women and children we may never meet.”

In 2007, NYBN will launch a membership drive to increase the group’s size, the business opportunities available to its members, and the mentoring and charitable work it performs.  Virginia Moore was one of the founding members of The New York Businesswomen's Network and dedicated to the development of young women within the architecture, construction and engineering industries.  This scholarship honors her memory and supports the education of extremely talented and intelligent young women.
